nyc
14. january
nyc is a misnomer for this entry; its simply the first time ive ever been downtown. the pictures here are of the financial district and times square, two places that seemed like a good starting point. the city is fantastic though, and im sure there will be many more pictures to come.
ive wanted to see this brige for a long long time
and here is a really crappy picture of it
i took the holland to get from newark to the port authority bus terminal, from there you get on the #1 toward the bronx and get off on 116th.
ring any bells?
its unreal how expensive everything is right around here
where they used to be...
its quite a moving sight in real life.
GW
this guy signed the declaration on independence, now he is buried by trinity church a block from wall st. and two blocks from the wtc site
42nd street right by Times Square
parking laws in nyc, arguably worse than in berkeley
i was here
this should look more familiar is there is a big shiny ball on top of that big shiny building
everywhere else they run you over in this city. people j-walk just as much as they do in berkeley, but they run when the cars come.
i was also here
some of dozens of bilboards on times square
later i ate a big mac here; it only seemed appropriate
